Land Designation Referendum

  Gambler made an application to Canada to have the Brandon lands set apart as a reserve under Canada's Additions to Reserve Policy, as a community addition and the lands have been set apart as Gambler Indian Reserve No. 63B.  
 
  The Council feel that this will allow opportunities for economic self-reliance to occur through the creation of revenue, employment, training and business opportunities. They expect that the designation of the Brandon Reserve Lands will promote and provide for the revenue base needed to overcome obstacles to social and governance development, while moving toward self-reliance.
 
  A YES vote will ensure financial benefits for both OFF and ON Reserve members.
