Project Lead for EPP Structural Readiness (12-Month Term)

The Project Lead serves as the primary coordinator for the day-to-day operations of the Structural Readiness project, ensuring all deliverables are met on time and within budget and in accordance with the proposal.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage project timelines, reporting requirements, and budget oversight for the EPP Structural Readiness proposal.
  • Manage the administrative requirements of the project lead and related logistics.
  • Coordinate communication between consultants, policy developers, education director and community leadership.
  • Track progress against project milestones and prepare regular status reports for the Education Director.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
  • Proven experience in project management, particularly within grant-funded or project-based initiatives.
  • Strong organizational skills with experience managing operational logistics.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and familiarity with community-led educational initiatives.

Reporting Structure and Environment

  • The Project Lead reports directly to the Education Director for daily operations and strategic alignment. Additionally, this role is responsible for compliance and financial reporting to Indigenous Services Canada (ISC).
  • This is a hybrid-style role requiring a presence in the office for administrative tasks and data management, as well as field-based work to ensure project milestones are met on-site.
  • As a vital link for the Nation, the successful candidate is expected to actively engage with community members. This includes participating in local meetings, acting as a community outlet for information, and ensuring that project outcomes align with community needs.

Compensation & Term

  • Bi-weekly hourly wage (DOE) plus a competitive group benefits plan.
  • This is a term position (Project-Driven).
  • Candidates should be aware that project milestones and budget allocations are tied to a fiscal deadline of March 31, 2027.
