Ojibwe Language Program in Gambler

The Ojibwe language was embrased by the Elders and students at Binscarth school. They showed eagerness and enthusiasm to learn their Ojibwe language.

Many topics were introduced such as: greetings, family, animals, kitchen items, numbers, months, days, weather words and everyday common words.

They were focused and willing to participate in the activities we were doing. We all enjoyed doing the program, many laughs were taken together. It was wonderful to see the progress they were making. It was exciting and rewarding working with the people of Gambler. We would like to thank the Chief and council for inviting us to work with their people.

Thank you
Marilyn, Cathy
